Vintage Antique Holmes and Edwards Silver Plate Flatware large set of serving pieces, including a gravy ladle, a sugar spoon, a butter spreader, a pickle fork, a steak carving set, a 9" serving spoon, and an 8 1/2" serving fork or cold meat fork.
Holmes and Edwards was known for "inlaid" silverplate, which was a silver-plated piece with small blocks of sterling silver inlaid at the high-wear points on the back. This technique gives the appearance of more solid silver in key areas.
Preowned estate condition with normal signs of household use, such as scratches and scuffs from use, cleaning and storage. Please see the pictures.
