Stunning example of a vintage 1920s "dance bag" with a beautifully intricate beaded Art Nouveau design! Made in France, known for their quality & delicate handiwork. "Dance bags" were an iconic symbol of the Flapper, only fitting the bare essentials for a night out! Thanks the loop at the back they could be held by a finger as you danced the night away! They signified the new found freedom women had as an accessory for a lifestyle centered around dancing, nights out, and liberation!
A collectors item. The work that went into this curved, swirled masterpiece is amazing- what a beauty!
