For your consideration is this lovely porcelain Bon-Bon dish. This piece is marked on the underside "Hand Painted Japan" in red text, cherry blossoms on each side, all within a red rectangle. In 1924, the cherry blossom was subcontracted by the Nippon Toki Kasha Company to independent companies making porcelain for the USA market. Many different Japanese companies incorporated this into their own marks, and thus I was unable to ascertain the exact maker of the piece. The dish is shaped like a flower and has a little handle on one side. Within the dish are three hand painted pink cherry blossoms, with yellow centers, outlined in raised gold against yellow scrolls with gold accents. This piece has a robin egg blue rim outlined with gold with a gold edge. I did observe some gold loss, common for porcelain of this age and type. When I purchased the piece, I did not notice the little nips on the edge of the handle's underside. Additionally observed is a small divot on the base, it feels sm
