Unsure if it works
THomas Mercer are best known for their marine chronometers, precision engineering dial gauges and tools. This circuaar I dont know what it was used for but it comes in its original box and it is part of St Albans history. I whould imagine it was made in the 1930s to 1950s.
Sticker on side says 1944
Mercer started in St Albans around 1874 and closed in 1982. Mercer gauges are still made and on that basis this may be of use to someone. I am selling it as a curio of local history and british precision engineering.
