It does show wear and tear but still makes a very nice display piece. The motor makes noise when u wind it up however the belt with ducks doesn't move. I'm guessing because it's missing the attachment to wheels in back. However I can't say for sure. None of the ducks are missing. This can be just a display piece or a fixer upper piece. Please inspect pictures because what you see is what you get
