Measures 7" tall and 3" wide, approximately.
Blown glass, blue color, a lovely shape, with concave or thumbprint sides.
Believed to have been one of many Steuben blown glass designs, during pre 1932 colored glass style.
Since there is not mark, it would have had a paper label and long since washed away. Ground smooth pontil mark.
This could be one of Carder's.
Carder served as art director for Steuben through 1933, when he retired. He often varied styles and colors, just for the whimsy of his customers. Use for oil and vinegar, a little Sherry, or just
display.
Looks really nice on a window shelf with sun coming through.
Creative imperfections like tiny bubbles.
This decanter had been used and has some spotting inside.
