Brand new in sealed box. I did open it because this belonged to my grandmother and I needed to be sure it was the correct piece and in mint condition. Never opened and never displayed. She loved Jim shore and anything that related to the 12 days of Christmas.
I don't see another one in new condition listed on the internet at this time. Box does show somewhere. 2005.
