Outstanding example of a vintage 1970's maxi skirt by the iconic firm ALEX COLMAN of California which clothed a generation of hippies in psychedelic garments. Fabric is acrylic crepe often called bark cloth because of the texture; it was likely made in Hawaii or Japan & is still unmatched today for color saturation. The pattern is a riot of floral paisleys in neon bright colors of prink purple red orange & yellow with black/white highlights. Skirt has a fixed waistband which closes with a side button & zipper, it has a little gathering & is in a gentle A-line shape. Excellent condition.
