The woad-dyed denim is almost legendary!
Tender's original woad denim, hand-dyed (overdyed) on extremely thick 17-ounce denim.
Various dyes are used depending on the season, but this model is a long-selling classic, and the woad dye has an overwhelming number of fans. Woad is a plant of the genus Isatis in the Brassicaceae family, cultivated in Europe, and is said to be the oldest indigo dye. The deep indigo blue and the uneven dyeing characteristic of hand-dyeing are textures that only Tender can produce.
The woad denim can only be produced by a limited number of artisans, and the quantity that can be produced is extremely small. Due to the unstable supply unique to hand-dyeing, it is also called a phantom.
