This is a sterling silver Taxco brooch, marked TC-7, Mexico, and 925. It measures approximately 1 3/4" in diameter and can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant. It features an interesting design with inlaid turquoise and what appears to be brass accents (for a gold look), surrounded by what is probably black enamel. There are two spots on the "gold-looking bit" that were difficult to capture in photographs, and it is uncertain if this material is gold or brass. A heavy 26 grams in total weight.
