Special Forces Detachment U.S. Army Airborne Europe Ceramic Cup & Saucer - Rare.
Authentic. Very rare. Special forces detachment crest logo (De Oppresso Liber) on both the white ceramic cup and the saucer with green accent stripes.
Condition: The cup does have some damage. The saucer is in very good condition.
Age: Circa mid 20th c. I'm not sure of the exact date. I know that the first Airborne units were sent to Europe in 1943, so this could be a WWII era item.
Markings: Clearly signed "Keramikos Greece".
Country of Origin: Made in Greece.
Materials: Pottery.
Measurements: As a set, it measures 6¼" in diameter x 2½" tall.
