This is the mk-02, a standard item from the "workshop" line by the original sus-sous designer, Mr. Nishitani.
These are painter pants that follow the mk-01's design, featuring an extremely wide waist and thigh that are cinched with a drawcord.
While they have durable double knees, the white stitching provides an accent, resulting in a balanced look that isn't overly rugged.
The lining of the waist uses linen for breathability and comfortable wear.
