Vintage Sears Silvertone Model 16 AM Radio, circa 1951; repaired and remodeled to function. Ready for another 50 years of service! Perfect for mid-century modern aesthetic or theatrical prop use. Works very well.
Unit was repaired and includes custom modifications: speaker replaced, volume control replaced, and power switch moved to rear to preserve aesthetic, Painted Bakelite cabinet re-painted with similar paint color to original (see bottom). Back cover remanufactured. Made electrically safe with 3-wire cord, 1-amp fuse (under chassis), and caps and resistors replaced. Includes copy of schematic and parts list.
