This is a very beautiful romantic Fragonard "Love Story" vintage plate. The plate displays a central medallion with a romantic scene and smaller Vignettes of similar scenes along the border. The intricate patterns include hand applied 24 karat gold accents. The backside of the plate has the regal blue crown back stamp. There is a silver sticker but the words have faded. The blue crown back stamp is JKW. Decor Carlsbad Yosef, Kuba. A prominent German decorator known for the Love Story series. Made in Germany. This 10.75 inch plate is in very nice vintage condition. No chips, nicks, crazing cracks or flea bites. It will surely add a touch of vintage elegance to your home space. Non-smoking pet free home.
