Made by the Red Wing Pottery in the 1950's, this sugar bowl is in the Capistrano pattern. From the Anniversary line, the body pattern features a basket weave-type texture running vertically. The lid is hand painted, depicting fruits and leaves. The handle is a closed swirl, like the top of an ice cream cone. This piece is unmarked, but most other pieces are impressed with "RED WING / U.S.A." Size: 5 5/8 inches high with lid; 3 7/8 inches wide. This sugar bowl is in excellent condition. Guaranteed to be authentic Red Wing.
