Alice in Wonderland Mini Snow Globe – “Golden Afternoon” (2001, 50th Anniversary Edition)
Inside this charming globe (3.5 inches high with a 2-inch base), you’ll find me—Alice—sitting right atop a mushroom, as though I’d wandered into a very curious garden indeed! Surrounding the base are my most talkative companions: the Dizzy Daffodils, the Tiger Lilies, and the Dandy Lions, all looking quite splendid in their bloom! And perched ever so daintily on the very top of the globe is a whimsical little Bread-and-Butterfly. Isn’t that just the most delightful detail?
When you give the globe a gentle shake, sparkles swirl about, as if the afternoon sun has scattered golden light across the garden. The glass is perfectly clear, the liquid is clear too, and the entire piece is in excellent condition. No cracks, no leaks—only the enchantment of Wonderland captured in miniature.
This special globe was created in 2001 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland.
