This is a Russian Amber brooch that is 2 inches long if you measure the legs. The body alone is 1 1/4 inches long. I could not read the Russian hallmark so I brought it to my jeweler and he said it was 18 KT. I have been told that my jeweler read the markings wrong and that this brooch is not real gold. So we will have to go with the assumption that it is not real gold. I have no idea. The pictures show the markings, whatever they mean.
