This book is very cool. It is, basically in my summary, a description of the artist works and the reasoning behind each work. These are very fine porcelain dolls that are all articulating, and have many moving parts. With ultra realistic lifelike features end adornments. If the items appear to be made of gold that the dolls are wearing for silver or platinum or gems, it's because they are real. Each one of the real dollsgm is thousands and thousands of dollars. If you get your hands on one this book, it's really, really breathtaking as it's an insight into the art that Marina has created. Some of the images are very revealing or inappropriate for children so please be aware this is an adult doll book.
