This nickel medal with silver plating celebrates a piece of history and commemorates Tombstone’s rich heritage. This is the 7th issue in a series of commemorative medals, created to lead up to the town’s 100th anniversary. This medal depicts a mining scene on the front and the motto “A Town too Tough to Die” engraved on a tombstone on the back. Comes with original brochure and a plastic envelope-style protector. I believe this was purchased but never displayed as it was found in its original shipping. Minted in Canada. Excellent condition.
