Handcrafted Folk Art cloth Mexican doll. Her hair was created with small areas of black cloth that gathered and sewed together. Her big eyes and sweet smile are embroidered and embroidery also defines her shoes. She is wearing a pair of red polka dot shorts beneath her skirt. Doll is approximately 15H X 6 W ( inches) Doll does not stand without support.
This Folk Art doll has been a display item in our home for 50+ years. She was considered old when I purchased her, and in this rustic state.
She has several stains on her body.. The handmade shirt and red polka dot shorts are original to the doll. Cannot recall when the skirt was replaced. Pre-owned and in a old rustic folk art condition.
