A remarkable and distinctive pendant crafted by a silversmith in Taxco, Mexico. It depicts a Native American Indian Chief oriented to the left. The intricate details of the side profile of the face and feathers are truly impressive. The border trim features a Xicalcoliuhqui type motif that enhances the entire piece. This is a three dimensional two sided depicted medallion, solid with a thickness of 8mm made from sterling silver 925. The pendant, including the bale, measures approximately 2" x 1.3"
