Mid-century powder blue Haute Couture beaded Pillbox hat with butterfly lining. Popular in the Mid-20th century, Pillbox hats were often associated with style icons like Jackie Kennedy. This gorgeous example is made of powder blue velvet covered in delightfully intricate gray bead work. The interior is lined with a lighter blue damask style fabric adorned with blue butterflies. It is a true vintage connoisseur's dream!
The hat is in very good vintage condition. There is some discoloration to the interior fabric from normal usage and age. Please see the pictures for details.
The inside circumference is approximately 20.5" which is about 6.25" diameter. Please measure the wearer's head, or another well-fitting hat, carefully to ensure a good fit. Pillbox hats are usually worn tilted forward on the head.
