VINTAGE LOUIS MARX G-MAN G Man PURSUIT TIN LITHO WINDUP TOY CAR
This is a very rare, fantastic G-Man Marx Pursuit Car. All original paint, and as you can see, there are scratches and chips to the paint and a few small dents (to be expected for a nearly 100 year old car!). One side of the gun is slightly bent, but I think could easily be pushed back, I just didn't want to attempt and mess something up! A few others of these on ebay have the same bent part on the gun, so maybe it is just part of it? The colors are so vibrant and rich. I purchased this from an estate in rural Oklahoma, and it was missing the key, so I purchased a reproduction key to test it out. It does wind and makes lots of noise (from research I believe that's what it is supposed to do! To simulate the gun shooting). I'm unsure about the mechanics of the wind up part - it does not make the car go, but when it's wound up, and held in the air, it does make the back wheels spin.
Car is about 14" long and 6" tall.
