This item has been carefully stored in a home bookshelf (with a door).
The cardboard shipping box shows signs of aging commensurate with its years, but the four-sided cloth case and the appearance of the book itself, as well as the text and illustrations, are in good condition, and I believe it is a beautiful item.
There is no yellowing on the top, bottom, or side edges.
