Japanese Arita Manreki ware ashtray with butterfly pattern on white porcelain with gold trim accents. Top outer circumference contains beautiful multi-color butterflies on alternating blue and green background fields accented by gold trim. Center portion of ashtray is white Arita porcelain with three cigarette indentations on the inner circumference. Three identical leaf patterns decorate the white base portion of the ashtray. Measures 5-1/2 inches in overall diameter. Exquisite detail. Underside marking displays Arita Manreki stamp. Excellent original color retention as a vintage 20th-Century piece.
