Vintage mid century Faribo plaid stadium blanket that converts into a poncho via a center zipper. Popular as stadium blankets in the mid-20th century because they could be used to sit on, as a lap blanket, or worn as a poncho when the weather turned cold.
Faribo, made by the Faribault Woolen Mill Co. in Minnesota, USA.
The material is not specified, but because it is machine wash and dry, it is likely a wool/acrylic blend, not 100% wool.
It features a red, black, and yellow tartan or plaid pattern, fringed edges, and a diagonal zipper in the center that creates a neck opening to wear it as a cape or poncho.
Very good preloved condition. Some pilling is the only sign of use.
