A gorgeous antique circa 1920's Blue Morpho butterfly wing and sterling silver brooch. This lovely English made piece features a detailed lady in fine dress. Marked "Made in England" Sterling Silver" Patent # 220213. In fine antique condition.
Popularized in the mid 1920's after jeweler Thomas L. Mott's "British Empire Exhibition" Blue Morpho Butterfly jewelry was made using the wings of South American Blue Morpho butterflies.
