The Easy Wood Tools Full Size Easy Detailer is a replaceable carbide insert woodturning lathe tool that addresses safety, and efficiency like no other type of detail lathe tool on the market. The Easy Detailer has a unique diamond shaped carbide cutter that fits in tight places where the cutters on other tools will not. These tools are designed for the primary purpose of doing the small intricate work and cutting final details on projects such as small coves and beads on both spindle and bowl work. They are also perfect for cutting chuck tenons and making inside reverse angle cuts for inside chucking bowls with dovetail jaws. The Full Size Easy Detailers are engineered to be held flat on the tool rest and level with the floor. Cuts are done going straight in employing just the nose of the tool. Maximum reach from tool rest is 4". No more complicated approach angles to learn and use while turning. This simple approach to turning allows you to learn and master wood turning in no time. Easy Wood Tools propitiatory Ci4 diamond-shaped cutters are engineered to fit all size Detailer tools in in the Easy Wood product line. When the cutter eventually dulls, just loosen the retaining screw and rotate cutter, then re-tighten the screw. Never perform complicated sharpening procedures again! Super hard Maple handle is 16 inches long with easy grip handle. Solid CNC machined stainless steel tool bar is 8.5 inches long and 1/2 inch square. Overall tool length is 24.5 inches.
