BLACK LAGOON
A Japanese manga by Rei Hiroe, and an anime adaptation based on it.
A total of 24 episodes were produced as a continuous TV anime and broadcast on various stations, mainly independent stations. The director is Sunao Katabuchi (also in charge of series composition, script, and the same sections for the OVA version).
Season 1, "BLACK LAGOON," was broadcast from April to June 2006. All 12 episodes.
Season 2, "BLACK LAGOON The Second Barrage," was broadcast from October to December 2006. All 12 episodes.
The OVA version was released as the third season of the anime from July 17, 2010, to June 22, 2011. All 5 volumes. The title is "BLACK LAGOON Roberta's Blood Trail."
