The porcelain plate shown is a 1981 Bing and Grondahl Mother's Day plate titled "Hare with Leveret's" It was designed by artist Henry Thelander and features a relief molded motif of a mother hare with her young. Hand painted in blue and white under-glaze colors. Product info. Manufacturers Bing and Grondahl Danish porcelain factory that merged with Royal Copenhagen in 1987. Series: Mother's Day plates. The series started in 1969 and is still ongoing, with a new animal motif released every year. Design: The design depicts a mother rabbit hare with two baby rabbits, (leverets) among foliage. The front of the plate is marked "Mors Das" 1981. Material: Quality Danish porcelain. Dimensions. Approximately 6 inches in diameter. This plate is in excellent condition and comes in original box.
