You are purchasing a beautiful vintage cast iron still penny bank. It is cast in the form of a cat sitting on its hind legs with a red bow around its neck and having a black tail and a black spot on its back and having black ears. The cat is sitting up and looking sideway. It has a flat base and is made of two halves held together with a screw. It has the coin slot on the back of its head. See page 79of Andy and Susan Moore's book "The Penny Bank Book; Collecting Still Banks" Published by Schiffer Books, of Exton, PA in 1984 for a similar example.
