Superb and well-matched pair of late-19th-century French gilt bronze candelabras, finely cast and chased in the Rococo Revival manner, elaborately scrolled candle arms with original bobeches, all enriched with crisp foliate and floral ornamentation. The bases are particularly noteworthy, resting on bold footed base adorned with masks and rocaille motifs, exhibiting the high-quality workmanship.
Retaining an attractive, untouched patina throughout, the pair shows age-appropriate oxidation.
