Authentic, rare 100th anniversary Louis Vuitton Columbine bag in damier coated canvas with leather trim. Date code AS0996. Side leather embossed with "1896-1996 Edition Centenaire 2570. Top zippered closure. Interior has a zippered pocket & keyring tab.
MEASUREMENTS: 16" wide at bottom, 11" tall & 5.5" deep.
CONDITION: I'd say overall OK condition - definitely shows wear:
•The male half of the snaps at the side leather are missing, leaving a tear or hole in the leather (photos 3 & 7).
•The straps will need replacing soon - they are softened & quite worn, with cracking - especially at their bases (photos 8 - 10 show some of this).
•The leather trim near the zipper & down the sides has darkening & dryness cracking (photos 3, 11 & 12).
•There are hairline cracks in the damier canvas along the top edge (photos 2-4 & 10 - difficult to see).
•The bottom leather has soiling & marks (some visible in photos 11 & 12).
•The interior has a large liquid spot, and a bit of a perfume smell.
