Here is a solid Sterling Silver ring with a nice, large Australian Opal bezel set with dainty mill grain accents around the border and a chunky band to match. Ships via 2 day Fedex
This opal has a special story! This is a piece of fossilized Opal clam. Upon a closer look there are visible remains of where there were once clam growth rings and knots. This opal has a gorgeous display of teal blue-green pinfire, with hints of red and pink. The color is reminiscent of the ocean from whence it came!
It's backed with ironstone (the host stone that is found with Australian opal) to allow it to sit flat in the setting.
This piece has been beautifully handmade from the cutting of the stone, all the way to forming the sterling band and hand done mill grain border.
Dimensions: This ring is a size 8. Depending on the size, it can be resized upon request.
Band measures about 3mm wide.
Stone in the setting measures approximately 17mm wide, 4.5mm thick.
