Pristine and gorgeous a delicate Arita porcelain bowl with a scalloped form and hand-painted gourd & cord design in the classic Kakiemon style.
Made in Japan, mid-20th century, likely Showa-era (19261989) by an Arita studio producing Kakiemon-style wares for collectors.
Condition:
In pristine vintage condition no chips, cracks, scratches, or wear to the painted design. One tiny speck of kiln grit near the backmark and minor expected shelf wear on the unglazed foot rim, typical of handmade studio wares. Glossy, clean, and ready for display or use.
