Antique ROYAL DOULTON BURSLEM 6.25” PITCHER England in gorgeous Cobalt Blue, White & Gold. A lovely tactile Doulton Burslem earthenware jug.
This antique earthenware jug has an ovoid body and a cobalt-blue collar patterned in gilt with a floral design. The body of the biscuit jug has a textured cream background decorated with gilt and a floral design in navy blue. The body of the jug extends to a lovely loop handle decorated in cobalt blue and gilt. The base of the jug carries the Doulton Burslem marks for 1886-1891 along with the US Patent No 31L.002 and the additional mark B476. In excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs.
