Two antique framed silhouette portraits with inscriptions that read "Mrs. Washington" and "G. Washington" respectively. These silhouettes are depictions of Martha Washington and George Washington. Silhouette portraits and were a popular art form in the 18th and 19th centuries. Frames are made of a tin-like material and glass is convex or bubble glass. Each picture has a hanger so you can wall hang them. Each picture is in excellent condition with no scratches or paint loss, the cardboard backing has some dark spots on it but in overall great shape considering it’s age.
Each picture measures approximately 4” wide and 5” high.
