A rare and superb example of early 19th-century English ceramics, this Mason's Ironstone plate was crafted in Staffordshire during the George IV period, circa 1825–1830. Featuring the iconic "Vase and Fence" pattern, this cabinet plate reflects the height of the English Chinoiserie movement, brought to life by the vibrant Imari color palette.

Details:

* Maker: Mason's Ironstone

* Pattern: Vase & Fence

* Style: English Chinoiserie / Imari

* Origin: Staffordshire, England

* Era: George IV, circa 1825–1830

* Diameter: 9 1/4 inches

Condition:
This plate is in excellent antique condition, especially for its age of nearly 200 years. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The glaze remains glossy and the colors are vivid, with only minor, age-appropriate wear and light gilt rubbing at the rim—typical for well-preserved pieces from this period. The plate is unmarked on the reverse, consistent with Mason's work before the adoption of the printed crown mark.
