This is a wool cardigan from around the 1950s. I purchased it at a vintage clothing store in Aichi Prefecture. According to the shop staff, it's likely the one before the 60s mohair cardigan. Although it's described as a wool cardigan, it also has a bit of mohair mixed in. The fabric is quite thick, and it has buttons all the way up, so it can be worn stylishly on its own.
