1925 Vichy Casino Fan - French Art Deco Flapper - Featured in Book!
Rare find! This is a double-sided souvenir fan from the Vichy Casino in France, dating back to 1925. It's even featured in the book "Eventails" by Pascal Payen Appenzeller (page 86), a real piece of fan history!
One side shows a cool flapper girl in a ball gown with soft washes of color (greens, purples, and more), giving it a watercolor feel and that classic Art Deco style. The other side features the Vichy Casino in a bold orange print on cream with a delicate rose pattern.
