CT Carl Tielsch Germany 13" Decorative Bowl. Measures 13 1/2" by 9" and is about 3" in height. Very good condition with some rubbing on the gold edges.
This magnificent antique serving bowl was produced by Carl Tielsch & Co. in Altwasser, Germany, during the late Victorian to early Art Nouveau period. Known for competing with elite makers like Meissen, the Tielsch factory was celebrated for its high-quality porcelain and artistic hand-painted designs. This piece features a sophisticated freeform silhouette with dramatic scalloped edges and heavy gold-gilt filigree that follows the ornate relief molding.
The interior is decorated with a delicate spray of summer flowers in soft shades of peach, yellow, and lavender, surrounded by embossed scrolls that catch the light.
This item is vintage, over 115 years old. While it appears to be in excellent condition, there is the possibility I may have missed a minor detail. If I missed a major flaw, I would reach out prior to sending it.
